"Great place, awesome
strata"
We lived here for about 3 years. The building was 19+ and for live-in owners only. No rentals. Everyone was respectful and cared for the building. I had heard complaints about an over-reaching strata but we followed the rules and never had any issues. The building across from park place 1 got noisy at times and was independent from Park Place 1. Therefore we had no control over their activities/rules. Visitor parking was an issue at times. Overall, it's a great place to live if your not hosting parties/having a lot of people over/ and enjoy friendly neighbours.

"Park Place 1"
19 Plus building, 80 units in total,2 elevators,no rentals, 2 small pets allowed. Underground parking, NO storage lockers. In suite laundry, decent sized covered balconies, BBQ's allowed. Present strata council is good. Mainly a quiet building, with a few yahoo owners now and then, but they don't stay long. Quiet times from 10pm to 8am daily. Lots of visitor parking. Building is rain screened. Excellent location, 1/2 block from medical offices, Pharmasave, Tim Hortons, Kokopelli's green grocery, bank, sushi and pizza restaurants, pet store and VQA wine store. Good building for adults with no children. Keyless entry, lots of monitored security cameras.

Does not mention that Park Place 11 right across from it is owned by absentee landlords who vote down improvements and renters in it who do not care. There was also supposed to be Park Place 111-next to Park Place 1 - Corney Les stated it was 80% sold and people would be able to move in 2008....right and the cheque is in the mail...who knows WHAT the property next to Park Place 1 will be used for...owner developer Bill Dreisen isn't talking.

There is a new 60 unit building being constructed now (May 2016) and scheduled for completion in August. I have lived Park Place 1 for 10 years, excellent building, great management and strata council.
