With a bus stop right outside the front doors, access to public transportation is easy. Large beautiful trees surround these buildings to give added privacy. We are both retired and we were really looking forward to moving into this building that seemed to look great from the outside...mature and beautiful plants, manicured lawns, awesome trees and an overall A+ for the outside upkeep. The unit itself was lovely and with a little bit of TLC we thought we got ourselves a deal. We are already computing in our minds the upgrades that we thought would make the place look awesome. First of all, we find out that there aren't enough storage places for everybody to share...hmmmm..does someone have an extra one? We were told we can have a stoarge room that was built recently for under $300 that would not be recoverable if we decide to move out. Just doesn't sound right. Next we hired a home inspector who went through the entire building with a fine tooth comb. His work needs to be commended for its precision, great communication with us and a pile of digitally filed pictures for us to see and keep. Great job but it cost us almost $300. This is just another place with leaky walls, fungus growing on the outside, multiple cracks in the stucco walls and a case of wood eating ants thriving in moisture saturated areas of the building. Any other "wild life" would be a fair game. This is a building with potential massive problems in the future. It's anyone's guess what the repair of the damage is going to be for all the owners down the road. We definitely are NOT willing to go down that road.
