"The Huntington"

The Huntington, was just treated for carpenter ants .They are now attempting to rectify the drainage problem. The main problem of this building ,first of all the maintenace was'nt taking care of on a regular basis from the time this building was built. Secondly,the huge pine trees surrounding the building, well the pine needles during wind storms end-up in the building eavesthroughing system.The eavesthroughing system was just patched up with a caulking for holes and cracks.The roof will eventually need replacing we estimate in the next 4-5 years. The building is actually very slowly sinking or it could be the massive roots of the pine trees lifting the building up.They are several signs of cracking on the underground parking garage floor to several areas inside the building.Tiles are cracking in several units.Maybe due to improper install or the building shifting? There was a couple of water leakage from the 3RD floor to the 1ST that was never mention in the minutes.I think the building could of been better built.There is water stain ending up on some unit(s)ceiling that needs to be taking care of.There's 2 cement planter's connected to the building fascia on the third floor that was a poor design because of the potential water retainment. I wish there would of been a review like this one prior to purchasing my condo,to help the buyer make his or her lifetime decision.
