"DO NOT BUY IN THIS
BUILDING"

I am a recent purchaser of a unit in this building. I can verify that, despite being legally required to do so under City of Chicago Code, the developer failed to have all proper electrical, plumbing and ventilation inspections necessary to receive a valid Certificate of Occupancy for these units. The developer misrepresented this fact to multiple buyer's AND mortgage companies and made several other misrepresentations in the building's Property Report as to the quality/condition of the interior unit finishes. The City of Chicago has issued multiple code violations against this property and is pursuing the developer in court to force him to correct these violations. It was illegal for the developer to sell any of these units without proper Certificates of Occupancy and he is still trying to sell the last unit (2S). I strongly advise any potential purchasers to reconsider purchasing a unit in this building. At least 3 of the current unit owners are pursuing legal action against the developer for breach of the sales contract and misrepresentation.
